Introducting a new way to check our schedule for rentals!

If you're curious if the time is available, this calendar will allow you to check the schedule and see if the longarm is open. Please keep in mind that the calendar is not always set in stone. Sometimes, those tasks can be rescheduled so if you have a time you really really want, please check with me. While I try to put the non-rental quilts and show quilts on the calendar, there are a few times when I've forgotten and had a deadline planned. Of course, you still have to call to reserve the time.

Another new addition to the Duck Soup calendar is Thursday appointments. Starting the second week in February, all drop-offs and pick-ups will be done on Thursdays. This guarantees you one day that you know for certain that I will be in the studio and that you can plan for in advance. I will not be hosting rentals on that day but you will need to make an appointment. I made this choice so we no longer have drop-offs going on at the same time as a rental. I think everyone deserves a certain level of attention from me and it's not fair to divide that.

Keep an eye out in the next few weeks for the updated price list. Don't worry -- rental rates and quilting rates will stay the same. Thread will be charged per bobbin instead of a flat rate, again to be fairer to all. Thread costs have increased slightly in the past month, so I just need to redo the math from December and will update the pricing page.
